Cyanogen company gained worldwide popularity due to the development of unofficial firmware CyanogenMod, based on the operating system #Android. Now there is information according to which companies such as Samsung, Microsoft, Amazon and Yahoo, may acquire Cyanogen or sign a cooperation agreement.


According to rumors, all of these companies have something in common. All they are interested in the development of Android without Google. Amazon uses their devices Fire OS - a reworked version of Android, and Samsung has been actively developing its own operating system Tizen and tries to prove to Google, which is its devices are key to the success of Android.

In the future, Microsoft may be installed on their devices CyanogenMod and use their own services instead of the search giant. Yahoo acquired this year launcher Aviate and using Cyanogen could offer users more new applications and services.
